Volunteers

See our volunteer opportunities below.

Gathering evidence of need.

These volunteers firstly learn how we operate and the types of support that we may offer. Armed with this knowledge, they are able to assess applications for that support and make recommendations to us.

Administration & Finance.

These volunteers offer a range of professional services either to the groups that we are supporting or to ourselves.

These services include payroll, bookkeeping, accountancy, community share issues, etc.

There is also a need for transferable skills whereby our volunteers use either their communication or finance skills to contribute to funding applications for ourselves and our partner organisations.

Related to the above, we also require researchers to assist on projects.

Spreading the word.

As above, these volunteers learn about our services and also about our projects. They support us (or our community clients) through raising awareness using social media and other PR & Marketing tools.

Governance & Legal

We seek volunteers with legal or governance experience to assit with support for community empowerment projects. These range from incorporation decisions, to relationships with local & national Government, including projects such as community asset transfer.
